22/01/14 the first 3yo runner is a winner

GONE WITH THE WIND (Dutch Art-GALLIVANT) was the first 3yo runner of the season bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and became the first winner as well. The colt was sold at the Goffs November Foal Sales and is for Mrs Susan Roy in training with Jeremy Noseda. GONE WITH THE WIND became one of the two winners Frankie Dettori rode at his successful comeback. The colt won over six furlong at the second start of his career - he ran once as a 2yo. 

GALLIVANT foaled two more colts after GONE WITH THE WIND. One is a now 2yo by HIGH CHAPARRAL, which was sold as a foal as well. He is owned by Sheikh Joaan al Thani and is in training with Richard Hannon. It looks as if he has more stamina, as he has been entered in the English Derby by his connections. A yearling colt by DALAKHANI is at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and will be sold later in the year at one of the sales in Europe. GALLIVANT is in foal to NAAQOOS and will be covered by MOTIVATOR in 2014.
