The Cesarewitch Meeting takes places at Newmarket between Book I and II of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales and the Cesarewitch handicap is one of the biggest in the European calendar. Beside the prestige the owner of the winning horse earns more than GBP150.000.
This year the race was won by BIG EASY (Ransom O'War-Basilea Gold) bred and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK on behalf of his breeder Capricorn Stud at the BBAG Yearling Sales at Baden-Baden to Nicolas Clement.
After winning in France, BIG EASY was sold on to the UK where he is trained by Philip Hobbs for Terry Warner and was ridden in the race by Tom Queally.
